A. Personal Statement
Dr. Gabriel A Akinbode is currently an Associate Professor of Industrial-Organizational & Health Psychology. Over the years my teaching and research interests is focused on Work psychology, Leadership and supervision, Industrial Psychometrics, Statistics, Occupational Health and Safety Psychology, Environmental psychology, Cyber-Forensic Psychology and Disfunctional workplace behaviours (Violence, Terrorism and Aggression) in the workplace. As a work psychologist, I am passionate about applying psychological principles to improve workplace performance, employee well-being, and organizational effectiveness. I have over the years developed strong background in research and practice, I am committed to using data-driven approaches to inform Leadership coaching, talent development, occupational health and safety, and organizational change initiatives. My key areas of strength include: Research expertise, Assessment and development, Industrial psychometrics, Coaching and consulting. I am empathetic and understanding, analytical, collaborative and adaptable with strong ability to build rapport with individual and teams
