Personal Statement

As an early career researcher in Public Economics, International Economics, and Monetary Economics, my professional commitment is to contribute meaningfully to the discourse on poverty reduction, fiscal policy optimization, human capital development, and sustainable economic growth in Sub-Saharan Africa. I equally analyze the impact of inflation, interest rate policies, and financial inclusion initiatives on economic resilience and poverty reduction. Sub-Saharan Africa region, rich in potential yet challenged by deep rooted structural issues, demands evidence-based policies, innovative economic thinking, and inclusive development strategies. My research seeks to address these needs.

Ultimately, my goal is to contribute to policy oriented research that empowers governments, institutions, and communities to make informed decisions. By integrating empirical evidence with practical policy design, I seek to be part of the solution to Africa’s enduring poverty and inequality, and to promote a path toward equitable and transformative economic growth and development.
