Personal Statement

I am an early career researcher and sustainable development enthusiast, with a passion for advancing responsible resource consumption as a strategy for hazard mitigation. My work focuses on developing baseline social and environmental databases for local regions in order to generate smart, location-specific, data-driven disaster mitigation strategies for each region. With a strong commitment to transforming natural resource and disaster management approaches in developing nations, I constantly seek to bridge scientific research with real-world impact— engaging local communities, policy makers, and practitioners through innovation and advocacy.
