A.           PersonalStatement

I am an Associate Professor of Sociology (Criminology) in the Department of Sociology, University of Lagos. My academic and research interest has been concentrated on the challenge of organized crime and insecurity in the West African sub-region. With keen interest in political and policy reforms, I have undertaken research on corruption in the police and the judicial system in Nigeria. I am currently exploring opportunities to collaborate with colleagues around the world on reducing youth radicalism, terrorism and banditry in the global south.
