I am passionate about teaching and advancing ageing research, development and sustainable livelihood strategies. My research activities focus on promoting older persons&#8217; rights and\u00a0well-being through recommendations that emphasize the importance of education, training and lifelong learning which can enhance healthy ageing, independence, autonomy and empowerment of older persons. I have served as a dedicated resource person\/facilitator for International Institute on Ageing UN Malta&#8217;s annual\u00a0in-situ-training programme in Ageing Policy formulation, Planning and Implementation in Nigeria in collaboration with the Dave Omokaro Foundation. As a founding member of Stakeholder Group on Ageing Africa, I am a member of the Civil Society Engagement Mechanism Group on SDGs at the African Regional Forum. I have used these platforms to promote healthy ageing and lifelong learning among older persons and stakeholders in Africa and beyond.
